What a topical title this turned out be, eh?

Times are hectic, as we say in my new adopted home of South Africa, that I now can't return to because the travel ban hit juuust before my flight back. So just like all of you, I'm stuck at home, not doing much of anything. That isn't actually that different to my regular routine, but I feel for you anyway. But as we isolate ourselves physically, we find more and more ways to connect virtually. We find ways to hang out and have a good time while worlds apart. It's a beautiful thing.

Now, I'm not smart enough to invent Netflix Party, but I can contribute some silly fun and entertainment. And so, we're releasing Everything Is Awful. Since our jam last year, I have been tweaking and fixing things, adding sounds and music, and expanding a couple scenes here and there. We were considering releasing the game commercially, since it turned out a whole lot more interesting than initially thought and we were interested in exploring small, strange little dating sims as another potential avenue to keep a roof over our heads.

But today we feel, sharing a little joy, a little fun, or even just a little distraction is worth more than the couple of bucks we would've made from it (which of course is in no way to say that anyone is obligated to provide their services for free! Support creators if you can, we already struggle at the best of times).
